The Inn at 605 (formally the Applewood Bed & Breakfast) is a unique home rental. While we are a traditional bed & breakfast the house is often rented by single groups. Unlike most bed & breakfasts we do not live in ours. The Inn at 605 is directly across Richmond Road from our sister B&B the Williamsburg Manor. We own a home a street over, this way we are available when you need us and able to give you all the privacy you would like.
The accommodations at the Inn at 605 are as follows:
Our Mason Suite is our largest guest room. This room is two stories. Downstairs you will find a large sitting room with fireplace, pull out leather sofa and full private bath. Upstairs is a Queen Size Bed and 2nd Private Bath.
The Hamilton Ordinary features a Massive King Size Bed and Private Bath. The room is located on the front of the house and has great lighting and views of Richmond Road and St Bede's Church.
The Jefferson Suite is located on the 3rd Floor. The suite features a comfortable sitting area with plenty of room for air mattresses for an additional guest or two. Down a Step you will find the bedroom portion of the suite with a Queen Size Bed. The Room also has a Private Full Bath.
The Franklin Study Guest Room features a Queen Size Bed and Private Full Bath. The room is on the 2nd floor and features several windows for great views and lighting.
The Bellman's Room is located above the "Monkey Room" Sitting Area (named after the sitting area at the Inn at Little Washington.. This Guest Room features a Queen Size Bed. The room has awesome window lighting and great views.
We also have several double height air mattresses available. The Suites will accommodate those nicely.
All of the guest rooms feature televisions, Alarm Clock Radios, Private Full Baths, and Great Views of the area. The house has a comfortable living room with a fireplace inside the house and a great space to sit and relax outside in our garden. We have wifi, a large gas grille is also available if you would like to cookout. Our fully equipped kitchen is available for your use.
The Inn at 605 is located three blocks from Colonial Williamsburg and the Merchants Square Shops. (a very pleasant walk through the historic William & Mary Campus) We are located just minutes from Busch Gardens, Water Country, the Prime Outlet Shops, the Williamsburg Winery, Jamestown & Yorktown. We also have plenty of golf within a short drive.
The Inn has stood as witness to many great memories created and we have enjoyed the laughter and spontaneity of the families who have stayed with us.
